BCA 10 Businesses in Action
Recorded On: 12/03/2014
Each year the BCA 10 honors ten businesses that have been exceptional partners with the arts. These companies set the standard of excellence and serve as role models for other businesses to follow. Join us and hear directly from three 2014 honorees about why they partner with the arts and learn how to create successful partnerships with the businesses in your community. The first guest will be Hallmark Cards, Inc., based in Kansas City, MO. From its founding in the early 20th century, Hallmark has fostered creative environments both inside and outside the workplace, and has been instrumental in building the arts and culture community in Kansas City. Spartanburg, SC textiles and manufacturing company, Milliken & Company will be the second guest during the hour-long webinar. Milliken is dedicated to "doing well by doing good", and this effort has manifested itself through the company's support of the arts both in and out of the office. Lastly, Arts Brookfield, operated through Brookfield, a commercial real estate company based in New York City, will discuss how they invigorate public spaces through the presentation of free cultural experiences of all artistic disciplines in Brookfield's premier properties around the world.
