Many of these programs are designed to address key issues experienced by veterans — including transitioning from military to civilian life. One program in the Northwest will share how they created an effective partnership of a non-profit organization, government agencies and local businesses in support of training, educating and employing veterans towards meaningful work in the field of historic preservation carpentry. Learn strategies to identify community needs and build military/civilian partnerships that lead to impactful program design.
