Meet Your Federal Arts Advocacy Captain

Matthew Henry

A graduate of the Ohio State University with a performance degree in vocal music, Matt has been employed by the Arts Council of Central Louisiana since 2003, and currently serves as the Executive  Director/C.E.O. of the 8 Parish Local Arts Agency located in Alexandria, Louisiana. As Executive Director,  Matt serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center, The Hearn  Stage Blackbox theater, and the Frye Non-Profit Development Center. Additionally, Matt serves as  Louisiana State Captain for Americans for the Arts and sits on the Executive Committees of both the  Louisiana Partnership for the Arts and Louisiana Citizens for Culture.
